Bedding rules
When selecting bedding, always avoid soft woods such as cedar. These are TOO fine and will get in your hamsters lungs and kill him/her. Try selecting good types, which are perfest for your hamster. ONCE A WEEK Change your Bedding! Also avoid fluffy, cotton like beddings. Your hammy will just get tangeled. HERES AN IDEA: Buy a small hamster tray, and fill it with chinchilla sand, NOT CHINCHILLA DUST, OR ANYTHING WITH "DUST" ON IT! Your hamster will examine it, and then roll around and play in it. The sand helps clean the hamster, and provides a soft clean coat. Never use dust, for this is TOO fine, and will cost respitory problems.
